Techniques
Mock Cable — 2-st right twist (RT): k2tog leaving both stitches on needle; insert right needle between 2 stitches and knit the first stitch again, then slip both stiches off the needle.

Knit front back — knit into the front loop of a stitch as usual, but instead of slipping it off the needle, you then knit into the back loop of the same stitch before finally slipping both loops off the needle, resulting in two stitches.
